Last December I was invited to direct a group of remarkable student actors during a 48 film festival that was put on by ASM performing arts. During a three day weekend we were asked to conceptualize, shoot and edit a short film and amazingly enough we ended up with a hilarious film called DAWN OF THE JOHN (above). This past summer I had the great pleasure of working as a cam operator & sound recordist on a great doc about the Portuguese art of AZULEJO. With fellow filmmakers LUIS DE MOURA SOBRAL & ANDREW LIMA I had the honour of documenting this incredible art form which dates as far back as the 15th century.
